About Creo Collective
Creo Collective is a full-service marketing agency. We partner with technology companies to help them stand out from their competitors, connect with prospects and customers in a meaningful way, and contribute to their bottom-line results.
Our mission is to change how people think about a marketing agency.
At Creo, we work to positively impact our clients’ businesses by helping them grow, and focus equally on making a real impact on the lives of the people we serve.
Client teams are curated based on the needs of the client. This allows Creo Collective team members to serve clients where they can provide the most value in their areas of expertise.
The Opportunity
Creo Collective is building our public sector bench and looking for experienced PR practitioners who thrive in complex, multi-stakeholder environments — government agencies, public authorities, destination marketing orgs, and economic development entities.
What You’ll Be Doing
Develop strategic communications plans alongside board-level clients.
Pitch proactively to regional, national, and trade media.
Draft press releases, op-eds, public affairs correspondence, and board-ready reports.
Manage media inquiries and prepare spokespeople under tight turnarounds.
Support public affairs strategy — community engagement, speaking opportunities, stakeholder relations.
Track and report earned media performance.
What we are looking for:
8+ years in PR/communications with meaningful public sector experience.
A track record of placing stories — not just issuing releases.
Comfort in quasi-governmental environments and public records contexts.
Senior-practitioner mindset: you own your workstream.
Experience in tourism, hospitality, economic development, or government a plus.
Performance Expectations
Though a contract position, to succeed in this role, we expect:
Availability during working hours (9 a.m.-5 p.m. ET).
Note: We can be flexible on working hours pending your geographical location, as long as client and team coverage is maintained.
Must maintain consistent visibility and responsiveness across email, internal communication tools (i.e. GChat), and client channels.
Transparent and honest communication with your entire Creo team regarding availability and accessibility.
Why join Creo Collective?
Join a kind, talented, and collaborative team that values both results and relationships.
Work with forward-thinking B2B clients across a variety of industries.
Have real ownership over your work and the opportunity to shape strategy and outcomes.
Enjoy a flexible, remote-first culture with opportunities for growth and development.
