
Freelance copywriters
Creo Collective is made up of award-winning copywriters, copyeditors, video producers, and marketing experts with specialization in B2B technology and services. We are located all over the country and act as an extension of our clients’ teams, delivering superior content, strategic branding and messaging, and client-facing professionalism.
Creo Collective is looking for freelance writers with experience writing for technology companies. Within the technology sector, we work with companies of all sizes: start-ups, funded growth stage companies, and storied brands.
Responsibilities:

Write various forms of content including blogs, thought leadership, event campaigns, customer success stories, web content, white papers, ebooks and more

Edit and proofread content for grammar, structure, and style

Write and edit within clients’ style and brand specifications

Optional: create SEO strategies using SEO tools to research and apply key words that will optimize clients’ search traffic
Skill and experience:
-
At least 4 years of writing copy for B2B technology or technology-enabled companies

Excellent written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work directly with clients and adjust to their needs and style

Strong communication skills; ability to interview executives for ghostwriting purposes

Ability to work independently

Confident and reliable individual

Ability to handle tight deadlines

An eye for details
Education:

Writing degree is not required; however, you must love to write. A bachelor’s degree in a writing-intensive major is a plus (e.g., Journalism, Communications, English, Media, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, etc.)
Hours and compensation:

Compensation is hourly, commensurate with experience

Work is freelance; there is no guarantee of hours

Position can expect to bill approximately 40 hours a month to start, with an opportunity to expand
