We are located all over the country and act as an extension of our clients’ teams, delivering superior content and client-facing professionalism. Meet the core team below.

Gayle Kalvert
Founder & CEO

Gayle is the founder and CEO of Creo Collective. She is responsible for client and team member relations, new business, and marketing communications. Prior to founding Creo Collective, Gayle was an award-winning executive with 20+ years of experience in marketing, communications, and business development in technology and professional services. Gayle served multinational firms like Deloitte and IBM where she led marketing strategy and channel programs, in addition to mid-size companies like Qlik and BCW. Gayle’s time in marketing and sales gave her an insider’s view into the challenges marketing leaders face today: trying to keep up with the demand for content, and delivering content that moves the needle for sales. She created Creo Collective to solve these challenges. Gayle is passionate about helping Creo Collective’s clients achieve success. As a female who landed in the tech sector by accident, she experienced firsthand the opportunities and challenges that women face in the industry. She uses those experiences to help her better serve her clients—and to ensure an inclusive, positive working environment for her team at Creo Collective. Gayle earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Bucknell University. She lives on Long Island in New York with her husband (who also happens to be Managing Partner at Creo), three children, and their Yorkie, Lola. She is known for her ridiculous laugh (she can’t help it!) and her ability to quote every line from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. She loves spending time at the beach, but her family has convinced her that time at the mountains can be fun too.


David Kalvert
Managing Partner

David is managing partner at Creo Collective. He is responsible for developing, operationalizing, and scaling the company’s core services, including video and visual content and partnership programs. Prior to joining Creo Collective, David co-founded and served as managing partner at Technology Humans and Taste [THAT], an award-winning advertising agency based in Manhattan. David managed the business overall as well as production of film, video, new media experiences, and events for clients like Nike, Sony, Michael Kors, Walmart, and the Van Gogh Experience. David also served as group director and head of production at R/GA, and vice president of development and production at Vevo. Prior to his time in New York, David launched his own production company, Burner Media, where he served clients like HP, IBM, and Deloitte. David began his career as a commercial cinematographer based in Los Angeles, where he worked with artists including Tom Hanks and Eminem. David is passionate about creating world-class content for his clients and helping organizations scale and grow. David earned his Bachelor of Science in Film at Emerson College. In his free time, David is an avid runner, loves to ski with his family, and is an amateur yet passionate chef. He is also a die-hard NY Jets fan, which means occasionally watching them win.


Kyana Harris
Client Success & Marketing Executive

Kyana is responsible for Creo Collective’s client success program and marketing communications. Prior to joining Creo Collective, Kyana started and ran her own photography business, both while in college and following graduation. As a young entrepreneur, she learned the foundations of social media and marketing and realized the importance of not just the photos she produced but the experience each of her clients had during the entire process. Kyana is passionate about creating an inclusive and diverse environment and is excited to help Creo Collective in those efforts. Kyana earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Planning, Policy and Management from The University of Oregon. Originally from Washington, she recently packed up and moved across the country to Brooklyn, where she lives with her kitten, Gustav. In her free time she loves to explore her new city, and being a former college athlete, she loves to play volleyball.

Luma Adamo
Senior Copy Editor

Luma is our senior copy editor, responsible for ensuring consistent branding, accurate grammar, syntax, messaging, punctuation, and overall quality control of all Creo Collective copy. Luma is passionate about ensuring communication is accessible and easily digestible for all, while upholding the branding preferences of each client she works with. Prior to joining Creo Collective, Luma worked as a freelance proofreader/editor for a full-service marketing company serving the B2B, telecom, IT, and cloud services industries for three years. She also spent over 10 years as an Education Specialist in public schools, providing specialized academic instruction and case management for students with individualized education programs (IEPs). She was responsible for writing and reviewing IEPs that withstood legal review and accurately reflected students' abilities, needs, and progress indicators. How does that correlate to copy editing? Teaching grammar and writing defensible reports every day honed her attention to detail and knowledge of the English language! Luma earned her Masters in Special Education from San Diego State University. She lives in Carmel Valley in beautiful Monterey County, CA with her husband, two kids, dog, and crested gecko. She loves volunteering in her kids’ school district, supporting parents of children with special needs, riding and bonding with horses, and playing outdoors and crafting with her family—but never before the large mug of coffee her husband prepares for her each morning!


Brian Slupski
Senior Copywriter & Content Manager

Brian is senior copywriter and content manager for Creo Collective. He specializes in producing copy that converts and is true to the brand voice of Creo's clients. As a content manager, Brian assists in project management and content development. Before joining Creo, Brian was an award-winning journalist for various publications in the Chicago area, including the Chicago Tribune, Shaw Suburban Media, and AOL's His content marketing experience includes serving as Associate Director of Content for Keypath Education. Brian has written in the B2B and B2C spaces in tech, education, and the food and beverage industry. Brian earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Northern Illinois University, where he served as editor of the student newspaper. Brian lives in the Chicago area with his wife, six children, a dog, and two cats. He has no free time (hahaha)!

Emma Bolan
Senior Copywriter & Content Manager

Juliana is a professional copywriter and brand strategist. She is dedicated to creating effective, compelling copy for all Creo clients and is passionate about distilling complex concepts into digestible, engaging material. Prior to joining Creo Collective, Juliana spent more than 12 years writing in the technology field. She has led content teams in multiple B2B technology marketing firms as well as managed the technology and science channels for a global news start-up. Writing and creating brand stories is where she finds the most personal reward, and she enjoys helping clients build their voices and go-to-market strategies through such work. She's highly skilled at taking technical language and translating it into copy that connects with reader needs and desires. Originally from Connecticut, Juliana now lives with her husband and two cats in Washington State where she has accidentally created an explosive garden—making vegetable and flower-harvesting a primary hobby. She also enjoys bird-watching along the Canadian border, hand-embroidering, eating local oysters, and camping.

Emma is a seasoned writer with a passion for marketing. As a senior copywriter and content manager, Emma produces on-brand copy that converts for Creo’s clients while still being true to voice and tone. Before joining the Creo team, the majority of Emma’s professional career was in an agency setting where she gained experience in both the B2B and B2C space. From automotive and clothing brands to innovative technology companies, she’s knowledgeable on many different subjects. Emma knows the power of a good subject line and the importance of research to back up your copy, and she loves helping clients with their content goals. Emma earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Clemson University (Go Tigers!) and still lives in the upstate of South Carolina with her husband, cat, and flock of chickens. She enjoys thrift shopping, taking care of her plants, and traveling in her free time.


Dani Bernal
Content Strategist

Dani is a digital marketer with experience consulting entrepreneurs, technology companies, creative design teams, non-profits, service industry, and media professionals for more than 10 years. She is passionate about working with brands to guide them through the process of building a dominant online presence that converts into sales. She also manages brands during the trademarking and copyrighting stages and provides training and education on branding law, developing leadership, product policy, and portfolio management. In her free time, Dani loves admiring the complexity and beauty in art, music, nature, and people that surround her. She values relationships, creativity, education, taking risks, and curiosity. Dani is originally from Bolivia and now lives in Los Angeles.

Jason Sophie
Finance Director

Jason is finance director for Creo Collective. He is responsible for finance and human resources. He has spent most of his career within the M&C Saatchi Global Network, building and overseeing small and midsize Agencies’ finances as they start up, develop, and grow. Jason is passionate about building personal relationships and being part of a close-knit team. He truly believes that the sum is greater than its parts and incredible things can be accomplished when every team member is made to feel comfortable enough to be their true selves. Jason loves working in the marketing industry and thinks it meshes well with his personality; he likes to think he breaks the finance/back-office stereotype! Jason lives in New York City with his wife and young daughter.
